Call Your Parents
PURPOSE: Stay connected and maintain a strong and positive relationship with your parents to feel supported, loved and cared for. Having a friendship with your parents in adulthood can sometimes be taken for granted, so challenge yourself to prioritize these relationships and foster an ongoing relationship with them.

Flattery Will Get You Everywhere
PURPOSE: Give praise or thanks to another person with kind comments or words of affirmation. Think about how good it feels when someone takes time to appreciate you, and then help others enjoy that same great feeling.

It's Just Lunch
PURPOSE: Find opportunities to build (or re-build) a relationship that is strained or not strong. Request meeting for lunch on a day that you have free time—allow yourself to feel nervous or hesitant but remember that it’s just lunch.

Game Night
PURPOSE: Establish game night as a staple in your family or with your friend group. Game nights are a great way to make memories, increase communication (and laughter) and build relationships with your family or friends.

Plan a Picnic
PURPOSE: Eat a meal outdoors and enjoy the sunshine or sit beneath the shade of your favorite tree. Picnics conjure up fun thoughts of family, food and laughter! Since it’s not something most people do regularly, enjoying a picnic will be seen as a special treat. That, in turn, will make them feel special too.

It's Not About You
PURPOSE: Spend time with your friends and family doing something for your community. Offer help to those who are less fortunate than you and build a new kind of connection with your loved ones.

Just Listen
PURPOSE: Listen to what is important to others to help your relationship to flourish.

Believe In Someone
PURPOSE: Be perceptive of others who might be struggling and ask them questions. Then really listen, be encouraging, and let them know you believe in them and their efforts.

Fly the Friendly Skies
PURPOSE: Quit putting off tomorrow what you can do today. Time is precious, so go see that friend or family member that needs you or one whom you haven’t seen in a while.

It Takes Two
PURPOSE: Find an acquaintance, friend, or family member who has a similar hobby or plays the same sport as you. Participate in the experience together and grow closer in your shared interest.
