Pray/Meditate
PURPOSE: Take time each day to pray or meditate to help you focus, let go of challenges, release them to God/the universe, and take them off your mental to-do list. Trust in your ability to keep going, embrace challenges, and approach them as a learning or growing opportunity.

Take a Nap
PURPOSE: Hold yourself accountable to gauge your energy level and take the necessary steps toward improving your current state of being. Take a nap and give your body a chance to catch up on lost sleep to improve your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Watch a Sunrise or Sunset
PURPOSE: Take time to appreciate the beauty of the world around you. Ask yourself when you last took time to watch the sun rise or set? Make it a point to appreciate one this week.

Go See a Movie
PURPOSE: Give your mind a break from thinking about your to-do list, worries, and concerns. Allow yourself to be engrossed in a movie to give your mind a break.

Take a Yoga Class
PURPOSE: If you ever took a yoga class that you didn’t like…KEEP TRYING. There are SO many class variations that everyone can find one that they will enjoy – no matter your goal. Yoga is a lifelong practice so allow your relationship to it to evolve and grow.

Mental Timeout
PURPOSE: Get away from the office or away from a situation and take a moment for yourself. Listen to your mind and body and allow yourself to take time to regroup and recharge regularly. Prioritize your wellbeing and invite peace and stillness into your life.

Do Nothing
PURPOSE: Let yourself just “do nothing” whether that means watching TV, lying in bed on a Saturday morning, sitting on a patio with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, or maybe going to a hotel for some peace and quiet and a good night’s sleep. Whatever it looks like to you, do it and not beat yourself up about it.

Enjoy a Park or Bench
PURPOSE: Rest and recharge by stepping away from the normal fast pace of life. Get into nature and “get away from it all” to reconnect with the splendors of this world.

Jump in a Lake!
PURPOSE: Go to a lake for a day of fun and relaxation to calm yourself and reorient your mind around wellbeing and peace. Beyond just relaxing, engage your mind and body in various activities to add some variety to your day.

Treat Yourself
PURPOSE: Life can get so busy between work, family, friends, commitments, and day to day routines, it is important to treat yourself!
