Treat Yourself

PURPOSE: Life can get so busy between work, family, friends, commitments, and day to day routines, it is important to treat yourself!

Time: 30 Minutes - 1 Hour

STEP 1: Take a few moments to think about something you could do to treat yourself this week! Often times we become so busy tending to everyone else is our lives, we forget to give the time and attention we need back to ourselves. Without this needed time, we get burnt out, and slowly we are unable to give the people around us the quality of love and attention we intend to give.

STEP 2: What is something you have been wanting to do for yourself? Maybe it’s time to get a manicure and pedicure, or maybe you need to take an hour away from your kids to go read your favorite book at a nearby park. Whatever comes to mind first, that is what you should do!

STEP 3: Schedule time THIS WEEK to do what’s been on your mind. Make sure you schedule enough time to fully enjoy every moment of your chosen activity. Once you have it scheduled, get excited for it! Remind yourself that you deserve the time you are taking to treat yourself, you earned it!

STEP 4: Now all you have to do is fully enjoy every moment. Capture your feelings before and after you treat yourself to serve as a reminder to continuously treat yourself when you are in need of a little extra love and attention.
