Level of Importance
PURPOSE: Increase your team members’ job security and ask them to identify how important they feel their job is to the organization’s mission, strategy, or key initiatives. This will provide a great opportunity for you to increase their confidence by recognizing their efforts and performance.
Deliverable Map
PURPOSE: Create a clear picture of what is required for success now and in the near future. The Deliverable Map clearly describes how you will contribute to the organization’s success in your responsibilities over the next 12 to 24 months. This will increase comfort and security within your role and future with the organization.
What's Up
PURPOSE: Provide the opportunity for your employees to ask questions about issues or events impacting their work-world. When employees can get key questions answered about the organization that may be heavy on their mind, it provides a sense of comfort.
Job Contribution
PURPOSE: Outline how your position impacts company and customer excellence. Determine how your position’s major responsibilities have an impact on key organization strategies, goals, and initiatives.
Show You Care
PURPOSE: Show others you care to strengthen relationships in your community. Increase the actions you take to show you care about your co-workers.
Get to Know yOur Neighbors
PURPOSE: Get to know your neighbors so you gain a sense of comfort knowing whom you and your family are surrounded by and increasing your sense of security.
Teach a Class or Workshop
PURPOSE: Offer up your services to teach a class or workshop in your community and get your name out in the community, build relationships, and grow your business.
Set Up a Booth
PURPOSE: Set up a booth at a local farmers market, event, or expo. Meet others who live near you, and get your name (and/or business) out in the community to share more about your organization and its values, vision, and impact.
Small Stuff Counts
PURPOSE: Recognize team members’ “smaller” achievements. Ask your team members to share the smaller actions and achievements of others that may have gone unnoticed but deserve to be recognized.
