Time: 1 - 2 Hours
STEP 1: Call your local chamber of commerce or look at your city’s event page to see what types of upcoming events you can participate in.
STEP 2: Call the appropriate organization to get the information needed to set up a booth and get everything you need for the event. Do you want to have handouts, tchotchkes or discounted services for your audience? Will you need help to set up or man the booth?
STEP 3: At the event, meet other vendors around you. You may have things in common where you could partner with one another at another event… or you simply may find a new friend or a service that you are interest in trying out.
STEP 4: Have a way to capture the names and addresses of those who come to your booth so you can connect with them for future events.
