Phone a Friend
PURPOSE: Find a friend to motivate you and remind you why you’re doing what you’re doing. Have them encourage you to exercise (or keep exercising), eat healthy, or take better care of yourself.

Plan, Prioritize, Calendarize
PURPOSE: Relieve yourself of the burden or expectation of having to remember everything you have to get done in a day. Add events and activities to your calendar and set multiple reminders. Leverage your technology, be it a laptop or mobile phone, to schedule time for what is important in your world.

Spiritual Health
PURPOSE: Consider the amount of time you spend in thoughtful conversation with God/the universe. You might realize that you need to increase your time spent looking inward and conversing with yourself in order to balance out. Challenge yourself to live presently and acknowledge your thoughts and reactions rather than ignoring or suppressing them.

Daily Dose
PURPOSE: Recognize the empowerment that every single day can be a fresh start. Every choice you make is a chance to do something good for your body and mind. Be realistic with yourself in your Journey to intensify or maintain your health—give yourself grace for faltering and make time to celebrate your successes.

Eat Right, Be Right
PURPOSE: Change your eating habits to incorporate a healthier variation to increase your energy, improve your mental health, and decrease stress. Make small adjustments one day at a time and see which foods provide you with more energy or work well for your system.

Accountability Counts
PURPOSE: Meet with a friend or your significant other on a weekly basis in order to hold each other accountable for what each of you would like to do in your lives (i.e. eat better, rest more, increase exercise, lose weight, eliminate soft drinks, etc.).

Exercise the Body Good
PURPOSE: Make time to exercise several times a week to enhance your energy, increase sleep, and help your body simply work better. Something as low key as a walk around the neighborhood or taking your dog on a hike can get you out of the house and active. The more diversity you allow into your exercises, the less likely you will be to give up or avoid them.

Annual Physical
PURPOSE: Challenge yourself to schedule annual appointments with your primary care physician, dentist, OB/GYN, etc. so you have an annual “snapshot” of how you are doing. This way, you can be confident that any potential issues can be addressed in a timely manner

Mental Health Check Up
PURPOSE: Have an ongoing conversation with yourself to check in on how you are holding up, day in and day out, with everything going on in your life. Do an inventory of your thoughts and take appropriate action; it will do wonders for your health.

Supplementing with Supplements
PURPOSE: Supplement your diet to get the necessary vitamins and minerals you may be lacking.
