Planning the Week
PURPOSE: Identify your weekly deliverables and the time needed to achieve them during your work week. Map out how much time you will need each week in order to achieve your deliverables and schedule the necessary time into your calendar.

Expectations Talk
PURPOSE: Conduct a 10 minute “Expectations Talk” with your manager to confirm what you must deliver in the next 30 to 60 days to be on track.

Just Say No...
PURPOSE: Learn to say No, Not Now or When do you need it? Keep balance in your life taking care of yourself first.

Turn It Off
PURPOSE: Set a specific time each day where you will no longer look at work emails. Make it a point to avoid looking at email anytime you are interacting with others.

Add-On
PURPOSE: Adjust your schedule when necessary. Getting up 30 minutes earlier, working through lunch, or taking a day off for doctor appointments may be what is needed to get you back in balance.

Off My Plate
PURPOSE: Identify the work you currently are accountable to deliver that you may be able to give to others, change the due date, or not do at all in order to improve your current work-life balance.

Best Hours For Me
PURPOSE: Work with other team members and your manager to create the best work schedule for you that meets both your and the organization’s needs.

What's Going On
PURPOSE: Take some uninterrupted time to think about all aspects of your personal and work life to identify the areas that may be significantly impacting your work-life balance.

Work-Life Balance Review
PURPOSE: As a manager or team lead, meet with each team member to discuss how well he or she is able to balance his or her work and personal life. This will go a long way toward retaining and satisfying your team. If you are not a manager or team lead, talk to your manager about the following points to better balance your work-life situation.

Treat Yourself
PURPOSE: Life can get so busy between work, family, friends, commitments, and day to day routines, it is important to treat yourself!
