Be Happy with Who You Are
PURPOSE: Practice a self-acceptance mindset (being happy with who you are) each day. Comparison is a thief of joy. Work on establishing and maintaining and a healthy self-confidence.

Visit Friends and/or Family
PURPOSE: Visit friends or family. Social interaction and positive relationships have a positive impact on your well being, both in the short-term and well into the future. Invest time and energy into maintaining friendships that will enrich your life with love, fun, and positivity.

Take a Walk, Hike, or Bike
PURPOSE: Get outside and take some deep refreshing breaths. Enjoy the many benefits of doing so – getting Vitamin D, releasing “feel good” endorphins, relieving stress, all while doing a great thing for your body and mind. Go a step further and bring a friend or your pet along.

See a Comedian
PURPOSE: Go see a comedian for good belly laughs and tears of joy. Laughter allows you to release stress and approach common situations with humor…allow yourself to not take things too seriously for a night and carry that message with you long after the show ends.

Take a Road Trip
PURPOSE: Take a mini-vacation or road trip for an easy, inexpensive, and amazing way to clear your head and focus on the great things in your life. Explore the beauty and excitement in your state and create new memories which will maintain your happiness level.

Sleep In!
PURPOSE: Take a break and let your body get the rest it needs and deserves. Allow yourself to sleep in or spend the morning relaxing.

Music Therapy
PURPOSE: Surround yourself with others who enjoy the same music you do and plan to go to a concert. Approach it as a restorative experience—don’t be afraid to throw your hands in the air, dance, or close your eyes and let the music envelop you.
