Me and My Shadow
PURPOSE: Offer to let someone shadow you doing something you are especially skilled at or an area where you have a lot of knowledge. Sit with them and teach them what you know so they can learn the ropes and expand their horizons.
Career Exploration
PURPOSE: Meet with your employee to discuss the various career options available to the employee, as well as possible timeframes for his or her next career move.
Career Options
PURPOSE: Focus employees on how they can meet career interests within the organization versus having to leave the organization.
Development Actions
PURPOSE: Determine how you will build the skills and capabilities needed for future roles and responsibilities.

PURPOSE: Create a Career Development Network of individuals who will be able to provide coaching and performance feedback on the skills and capabilities you need to develop for your next career move.
