STEP 1: Think about your current role and what you must achieve within the next 6 to 12 months. Identify one “organization factor” that will make a big impact on your work.
Review the following “Organization Factors” and select one factor you will research and learn more about:
- Our customers
- Our consumers
- Our competitors
- Our business goals and direction
STEP 2: Research your selected “Organization Factor” using the company intranet to find out as much information about the area as possible.
Your goal is to understand what is happening in the area and how it will impact your deliverables and future results.
STEP 3: Based on your findings determine if you need to do more of something, less of something, or do something differently to achieve your deliverables while meeting the needs of the organization.
