- In the next 12 months, what skills and capabilities do you need to develop?
- How will these skills and capabilities impact your individual goals and work priorities?
STEP 2: Based on this discussion, identify the actions both you and the team member can take to help build the selected skills and capabilities.
Note: Based on available resources and the team member’s deliverables, you may need to prioritize the skills and capabilities the team member should develop first.
STEP 3: Every few weeks, touch base with the team member to receive an update on his or her development actions.
