Support Feedback  

PURPOSE: Facilitate a feedback session with your team to understand what type of support you provide your team members.

Time: 1 Hour 

STEP 1: In a team meeting, explain why you have chosen to improve your supporting work capabilities, and share your thoughts regarding the importance of supporting work. 

STEP 2: Ask your team to discuss and summarize the statements on the Support Feedback Worksheet.

STEP 3: LEAVE THE ROOM. Your team should discuss the questions without you. This process will provide the most honest feedback to help you improve your supporting work capabilities. 

STEP 4: After you leave the room, each team member should spend 10 minutes thinking about his or her own responses to the Support Feedback questions.

STEP 5: The group should then summarize the individual responses; adding, deleting, or modifying responses to create a concise group summary. 

STEP 6: After summarizing the responses, the group should invite you back into the room to review their Support Feedback team summary. 

STEP 7: Based on the team discussion, identify and share the actions you will take in the future to improve your supporting work capabilities. Thank the team for their honest feedback.
