Time: 30 Minutes
STEP 1: Identify a time in the last 45 days when one of your team members received negative feedback from a client/customer, your manager, or others.
STEP 2: Use the Supporting Work Assessment Worksheet to record the following:
- Describe the situation
- Identify how the employee would describe the support you gave him or her during this situation
- Based on the circumstances and your view of the employee’s perspective, what would you do differently in the future?
STEP 3: Determine what actions you can take to improve the support you provide to your team members.
