Deliverable Map 

PURPOSE: Ask your team members to identify how important they feel their job is to the organization’s mission, strategy, or key initiatives.

Time: 90 Minutes 

STEP 1: Print the Deliverable Map Guide. 

STEP 2: Using the questions on the Deliverable Map Guide, complete the Deliverable Map Template by recording the answers to each question listed on the guide.

  1. As you complete the template you will create a clear picture of what you must achieve in the next 6 to 12 months, as well as what must be achieved in the next 24 months. 

STEP 3: After completing the Deliverable Map, meet with your manager to:

  1. Review what you must deliver in the next 6 to 12 months
  2. Review what must be delivered in the next 24 months
  3. Identify how your role might change over time to support new business capabilities and/or customer expectations
  4. Outline the level of performance required to support both the team and organization direction
