STEP 1: Record your team members’ names on the Recognition Chart.
STEP 2: Each time you provide recognition to a team member, place a check mark next to the person’s name.
Note: See if you can place a check mark next to each team member’s name at least once a week.
STEP 3: At the end of each month, tally the number of times you provided recognition for each team member.
When reviewing the summary, think about the following:
- Are there team members who received more recognition than others? Why?
- Do you see any patterns regarding who receives the most recognition? (e.g., high performers vs. low performers)
- What team members need more recognition?
