What's Up

PURPOSEProvide the opportunity for your employees to ask questions about issues or events impacting their work-world.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP: Give the What’s Up? Worksheet to your employee.

STEP 2: Ask your employee to think about the three areas on the What’s Up? Worksheet and jot down questions, issues, concerns, or events the employee wants to know more about:

  • I Think…I’ve been thinking about the following.
  • Next Steps…We’re doing “X”, what are the next steps?
  • Tell Me More...I want to know more about “X” situation or issue.

STEP 3: Once your employee has prepared the What’s Up? Worksheet, schedule some time to discuss the issues, situations, and/or concerns.

STEP 4: Based on the discussion, determine what actions you and or the employee must take to resolve an issue, get more information, or take action to improve a situation.

TEAM APPLICATION

As a team, identify areas the team would like more information on. Determine who can help answer the critical questions and schedule a team meeting to discuss the “What’s Up?” questions.
