STEP 1: Schedule a one-to-one feedback session with each team member.
STEP 2: Before you meet with a team member, outline the following:
- What are the team member’s current projects and deliverables?
- What is the team member’s current level of performance?
- What actions must the team member continue doing to achieve success?
- What actions must the team member discontinue to achieve success?
STEP 3: Meet with the team member to provide the feedback outlined in Step 2.
STEP 4: Provide the opportunity for the team member to ask questions, get clarification, and provide additional performance information.
STEP 5: Outline the actions both you and the team member must take to ensure the team member is successfully able to deliver his or her goals and objectives.
