Time: 30 Minutes
STEP 1: With your team members review the Best Hours for Me Worksheet and highlight the following:
- A Hours: These are the ideal hours the team member would like to work
- B Hours: These are hours the team member can work
- C Hours: These are hours the team member cannot work
STEP 2: Team members review their schedule for the previous three weeks and record on the worksheet how many of their hours worked (in the last 3 weeks) were A Hours, B Hours, and C Hours.
STEP 3: After completing The Best Hours for Me Worksheet, team members discuss with their manager their A Hours, B Hours, and C Hours and their schedule for the previous three weeks.
STEP 4: Together the team member and manager/scheduler discuss what actions can be taken to increase or maintain the number of A Hours and decrease or maintain the number of C Hours.
