Communication PuzzleĀ 

PURPOSE:Ā Use theĀ Communicate PuzzleĀ to ensure you take action to improve your communication with each of your team members.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Print the Communication Cards for each team member. Cut out the cards, and give all four cards to each team member.

STEP 2: Ask your team members to pay attention to your communication actions, and return each card once they “experience” you performing the communication action on the card.

STEP 3: When you receive a card from a team member, check-off the card in the team member’s column on the Communication Action Chart, recording the date you received the card.

STEP 4: As you begin to receive the cards back from your team members, review the Communication Action Chart and think about the following questions:

  1. Is there one communication action you do more of or less of?
  2. Are you more effective at communicating with some team members versus others?
  3. Who do you need to improve your communication actions with?

See if you can get all four cards back from each team member within 30 days.
