Time: 90 Minutes
STEP 1: In a team meeting, discuss the following:
It is important for us to know what we must focus on over the next few weeks to ensure we all stay on track and achieve our desired team results.
- What are the team’s top priorities for the next 30 days?
- What are the critical client or customer needs that must be met?
- Are there critical organization deliverables impacting our team?
STEP 2: After identifying the team’s priorities for the next 30 days, perform a quick check:
- Is the team focused on the right actions and deliverables?
- Do the team’s priorities need to be adjusted based on the team, business or customer needs.
STEP 3: Outline the key actions the team must take to successfully achieve the identified team priorities.
STEP 4: In a follow-up team meeting, review the team’s priorities and touch base to ensure the team is on track to delivering the critical actions needed to achieve these priorities.
Note: You can change the timeframe for the “It’s a Priority” and ask the team to outline the top priorities for the next 60 days or the next 90 days.
