Balance Is Key

PURPOSEBe intentional about maintaining balance in work, life, relationships, health, emotions, etc. The more balanced you feel in all areas of life, the more secure you will feel.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Write down what you want to get accomplished this week (spend time with friends/family, exercise, read a book, take a walk, schedule a massage, take 10 minutes a few days a week to organize a closet or room, etc.)

STEP 2: Look at your calendar and determine when you can fit these events into your schedule this week, and what can wait until next week without causing you stress or apprehension.

STEP 3: Reach out to schedule any events that need coordination with others and/or put time on your calendar (and reminder notices on your phone) to accomplish your goals. 

STEP 4: Review your calendar before you go to bed, to remind yourself of anything that may be scheduled, so you can be prepared for it the following day. 

STEP 5: As you get into the habit of starting and ending your day by reviewing your schedule in order or mentally or physically prepare, the better you’ll feel and the more successful you’ll become.
