SOLUTION:

Balancing Act

PURPOSE: Work on becoming balanced physically, mentally, financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: On a piece of paper, draw a line down the middle. On the left side, write out what you are doing in each of these areas to be true to who you are. On the right side, write down what is lacking in each area, or is not in line with your values and who you are.

STEP 2: First, review the left side and celebrate the progress you are making in those areas. Keep up the great work.

STEP 3: Next, review the right side. Reflect on why these areas are out of alignment. Is there an obstacle that needs to be overcome? Do you need help or support? Is there a certain area that is beating you down and is affecting the other areas? If one or more areas are being ignored or put on the back burner, it can affect the other areas in significant ways.

STEP 4: Determine what you need to be true to yourself and be balanced in all areas. Get support from a coach, accountability partner, financial advisor, therapist, or someone who specializes in the specific area or areas that can provide you with the peace and balance you need and deserve.
