Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Sit down and brainstorm 3 different ways you could make a little extra cash on the weekends.  If you’re having trouble coming up with ideas, search “creative side gigs” on the internet and pick out 3 ideas that resonate the most with you!  

STEP 2: Spend the next 15 minutes writing down different ways that you could make money through your side gigs.  Maybe you love photography or painting so you may put your art online and try to sell it.  Maybe you are a very good cook and could sign up to be the chef for an event.  Maybe you have a natural talent for sewing so you put an ad online that says you can fix items for a cost! Get creative with the way you may be able to make money by using your talents and capabilities!

STEP 3: Once you have brainstormed different ways you can make money from your gigs, decide which side gig you’d like to focus on first.  Choose the gig that sparks the most interest and excitement in you.  If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing to try and offset your expenses, then pick something else!
