Time: 30 Minutes
STEP 1: Let go of the ego and create a humbler mindset. It is a rare and valued trait that is respected by others. Be appreciative for what you have been given by developing a list of all that you are thankful for in this life.
STEP 2: Be conscious of how you project yourself to others as a first step in humility and also enhance self-awareness. When people compliment you, how do you respond? How do you talk to others who may not be at the same level financially, economically, or spiritually as you? How do you speak about yourself and your circumstances when others are around? Take note of your vibe as you interact with others this week.
STEP 3: When a situation calls for accolades and recognition being sent your way, show your inner strength and consciousness that exudes grace – a simple thank you and appreciation will reflect your love for doing great things, simply because it’s the right thing to do…and not because you “need that pat on the back” for doing something that may not be challenging for you.
STEP 4: Share with others. When you see others in need, get to know them, their needs and their circumstances. Shifting your paradigm and seeing others’ perspectives and lives will help you see yours through a new lens. If you choose to support them, do it because you want to, not in an effort to receive praise.
