Time: < 30 Minutes
STEP 1: Each team member identifies their “greatest strength” using the following format:
Team members perform the following:
- Identify personal talents, knowledge or abilities
(e.g., handling customer complaints) - Describe how the skill can help the team’s performance
(e.g., resolve customer issues faster and with better results) - Outline how other team members can capitalize on the skill
(e.g., provide recommendations for handling difficult customer situations)
STEP 2: In a team meeting, team members share their personal skill, how it can help the team, and how others can capitalize on the skill.
Determine if the team has already tapped into these skills and identify how they can use them going forward.
STEP 3: Create a summary of the team members’ “greatest strengths” to remind team members how they can capitalize on each other’s talent, knowledge, and abilities.
