PURPOSE:Ā In a team meeting, outline the recent company benefit changes and discuss the impact of these changes with your team members.

Time: 2 Hours 

STEP 1: Identify the different benefits changes that may have occurred. For each benefit change, outline the following:

  1. Positive impact for team members
  2. Simple steps to get the most value from the benefits package.

STEP 2: Facilitate a team meeting and perform the following:

  1. Discuss each of the recent benefit changes
  2. Outline the positive and negative impact for team members
  3. Determine if team members need additional information regarding a benefit change
  4. Refer team members to speak to the HR Representative.
  5. Follow up with the team to make sure additional information was provided. If necessary, contact the HR Representative with the team member.

Note: Contact your HR Representative before the team meeting to ensure you can clearly and accurately describe the recent benefit changes and how they impact team members.
