Time: 30 Minutes - 1 HourÂ
STEP 1: Reflect on an emerging or potential family need (“My child is struggling with stress at school”). Document the need(s) in a spreadsheet, noting specific challenges and potential support required (“Counseling or stress management resources”).
STEP 2: Schedule a meeting with your manager to share the different family needs you have laid out. Let your manager know that you want to explore potential benefit resources to help you address a number of family needs.Â
STEP 3: Connect with your manager and share your family needs. Get all the needed information around each benefit resource and note it within your spreadsheet.Â
NOTE: This is your opportunity to ask questions and get the information you need! If your manager doesn’t have the answer to a question you have, or the right resource to the family need you’re trying to address - have them direct you to the right person within the organization that can answer your questions in full.Â
