STEP 2: Compile the organization’s mission from the company website or HR portal and summarizing your team’s quarterly results (“Completed [project], increased revenue by 10%”). Create a shared document linking each result to the mission (“Project supports innovation goal”).
STEP 3: During the meeting review the mission, have each department share 1–2 results and their mission alignment, and discuss how departments can collaborate to enhance impact. Log action items in the shared document.
STEP 4: After the meeting email the participants: “Thanks for aligning [result] with mission; let’s action [task] by [date].” Post key insights in a company-wide Slack channel or intranet to promote transparency. Reassess action items quarterly to sustain communication.
