PURPOSE: Select specific actions you will implement for your team members to show you care.

Time: 15 - 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Review the caring actions on the Show You Care Actions Worksheet. Rate yourself on how well you believe your team members would say you are currently performing each action (Poor, Fair, Good, Great). 

STEP 2: Determine which action(s) you need to put more time, focus, and energy into. 

NOTE: You don’t have to be “great” at all the actions - but you do need to be “good or great” at performing all of the actions. 

Caring is the “cornerstone” to building a solid foundation that drives people to have strong well-being, engage within work, develop new capabilities, and create a place they want to stay.

  • Without caring there is limited sharing.
  • Without caring there is no real connection.
  • Caring is simple, but not easy to do. 
  • All leaders can care - with focus and attention. 

NOTE: Caring is powerful on its own AND fuels the Share Capability.Â
