PURPOSE: Meet with your team members to determine what “best work” should be leveraged based on how their “best work” impacts organization performance.

Time: < 30 Minutes 

STEP 1: Schedule a time with your team member to review and complete the Best Work Contribution worksheet. Your best work is the work that taps into your knowledge, talent, and abilities.

STEP 2: With your team member, discuss and record the following on the Best Work Contribution worksheet.

  1. List the team member’s “best work”
  2. For each “best work” capability, identify how the “best work” impacts the organization’s performance level
  3. Based on current team and individual deliverables, as well as the impact created by the “best work” capability, what “best work” should the team member do more of? 

STEP 3: Using the information gathered on the Best Work Contribution worksheet, summarize the actions the team member must take to leverage his or her “best work” capabilities, and positively impact organization performance.
