STEP 1: Consider what you might do to upgrade yourself or your life. Start exercising, get a bold haircut, refresh your wardrobe, take an empowerment or marriage enrichment seminar, start going (or start going back) to church – whatever it may be, it’s new, potentially challenging, and may feel a little weird at first, but it’s a great step in the right direction.
STEP 2: Once you determine what change you want to make, think about why you want to make it. This can be an eye-opening and very powerful moment. Ask yourself – Why is this important now? How will I feel afterwards? What does it mean to me? You may realize that there is something deeper that needs to be considered as well.
STEP 3: GO FOR IT and do what is on your mind. If you’re unsure about making the change, ask a couple people who love and care about you for their opinions…sometimes we still need a voice of reason…especially during times of change, chaos, or stress.
STEP 4: Enjoy stepping out as the newly refreshed version of yourself. Take it in and enjoy any comments you receive if people notice a skip in your step and a new glow about you.
