STEP 1: Which one will push you to the limit—a 5K? Marathon or Half-marathon? Triathlon? CrossFit? Boot camp? Yoga Retreat? Determine which one will get you out of your comfort zone and stretch you in a new way—both mentally and physically.
STEP 2: Once you determine which event you’ll embark on, look for a team, support group, or someone who has done it before so you can either start training with them, or get some tips. Based on your fitness level, you may need to do some prep beforehand.
STEP 3: Start the training process. Write down your accomplishments each day. Share what you did, how it made you feel and what record of yours you broke that day.
STEP 4: Share your accomplishments with friends, family and social media group. Not only will you receive kudos, you might encourage someone to start breaking their records also.
