SOLUTION:

Pray/Meditate

PURPOSE: Take time each day (or sometimes a few times a day) to pray or meditate in order to focus, let go of inevitable challenges, give it to God/the universe, and take it off of your mental to-do list.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: This step needs no preparation. All you need is a few minutes to sit, reign in your thoughts, and pray/meditate. Find a quiet place (a park, your car, your bathtub/shower, etc.) and ask for guidance on how to manage the challenges in life and guide you to increased peace in your life.

Many times, just getting thoughts out of your head and either putting it on paper or giving it to God/the universe, will bring a sense of calm because we can sense that we will be able to handle it.

If God/the universe leads you, reach out to others who may be able to support you to manage these challenges.

STEP 2: Ask for it, say it, and believe it to be true. Our brains and the power around us are amazing and can do immeasurably more than we can fathom or conceive. But we must believe it to be true.

STEP 3: If time permits, make a list of things you’d like to pray for during your next prayer. Again, it gets it out of your head and onto paper/phone, so you’ll know you’ve noted it somewhere.

STEP 4: Set a goal to do this AT LEAST once a week while you are sitting up and are alert.
