STEP 1: Research artists, musicians, creators or athletes in other countries that share your passions and see what is being done in their area of the world. You might get some great ideas or inspiration from them, be able to do some helpful networking and give them ideas of support that they may need. Don’t be afraid to follow their account and leave comments of work you find inspiring. If they sell their creations, music, etc., consider purchasing some… not only to show your support, but also to surround yourself with creative inspiration.

STEP 2: Do you enjoy photography? See what local photographers in your dream city are working on. Are you a fan of sewing or another form of art? Use the explore tab on Instagram to search artists or seamstresses in various countries to see how their culture influences their creations.

STEP 3: If you find some interesting information, reach out to those people or organizations to get more detail. Based on your discussion with them, you may be able to find other ways to further your passion or help others to do so.
