STEP 1: Identify one issue you would like to receive improvement ideas on from your friends or team members.
STEP 2: Touch base with each person involved and ask him or her to provide two ideas to make a positive impact on your selected improvement area.
STEP 3: Once you receive ideas from each person, summarize the ideas and determine if you can take action with any of the ideas.
STEP 4: Share the summary of ideas and outline how you will take action. Consider a team meeting if your solicited ideas were work related. Thank your team members for their contribution to the solution of the issue.
