Time: 30 Minutes
Before the event:
STEP 1: Schedule a 60-minute Talent Network event for your friends or a group of people you work with. Ask each team member to complete a Talent Network Profile:
- Top 2 Personal Strengths (capabilities you are great at)
- Top 2 Experiences (experiences you have had, in and out of work, which have made a real difference in your career/or personal life)
- Top 2 Development Areas (areas you would like to develop)
During the event:
STEP 2: Each person posts their Talent Network Profile on the wall.
STEP 3: Everyone will spend 30 minutes reviewing the Talent Network Profiles and identify one person they can help. Each attendee records how they can help the other person or what help they’d like to receive on a Post-it note and place it next to the appropriate person’s profile. Note: A packet can be sent to people and performed remotely.
STEP 4: The group comes back together and discusses the way they plan to help each other.
After the event:
STEP 5: The Talent Network Profiles are collected and summarized to create a Group Network Profile for the entire group.
STEP 6: Team members follow-up with the individuals they agreed to help, as well as those who could help them to discuss next steps.
