STEP 1: If you have people in your life that you want to help increase their physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional health, but you cannot encourage them to change their perspective or behavior, simply pray for them and/or send good and healthy vibes their way. When you go about praying for this person on their behalf or with them present, be intentional with your words and wishes for them—be mindful not to demand that they listen to your advice or hopes for their future, (and do not judge them or shame them for their choices). Instead, speak from the heart and express your concern through prayer or positive thoughts, and ask for guidance on how to be a supportive ally to this person through their life and potential period of change.
STEP 2: If they are receptive, let them know that you are praying or sending good vibes their way. Most people appreciate knowing that someone is praying for them. If they don’t, you can keep it to yourself. Regardless of their engagement with your intention through prayer and positive thoughts, be sure to be available to this person throughout their journey—share knowledge or suggestions at a time and in such a way that it will be “heard”.
