Time: 30 Minutes
STEP 1: Think about what you loved to do as a kid, (or what makes you feel like a kid when you do it). Would your partner enjoy it? Make a list of fun activities and show the list to your spouse or significant other to get their input. Take your significant other to a water park, jump on a trampoline, go dancing, sing karaoke, have a water balloon fight or go hiking in a beautiful place. Happy endorphins will release and more happiness and laughter will erupt!
STEP 2: Determine which activities you will engage in and what is a convenient date for the two of you.
STEP 3: Get it scheduled. Purchase any necessary tickets or paraphernalia. As the date gets closer you’ll start to feel like a kid anticipating a birthday party.
STEP 4: The time has come. Have a great time feeling like a kid again. Don’t worry if you’re any good or how you look. Just do it and laugh A LOT. Take pictures to remember these special moments and post them in your social media outlets. Chances are you’ll motivate others to invite their “inner-kid” to come out and play.
STEP 5: If you came up with this specific idea, let your loved one determine your next kid-friendly activity.
