Time: < 30 Minutes
STEP 1: Think about your day-to-day routine. Your commute, where you go for coffee, lunch, walks, etc. Think about what you do when you get home…does it look the same every day? If so, change it up. First, think about what you’d like to adjust, as well as why you want to adjust it. That may tell you a lot about yourself, your current circumstances, and how you got into the rut in the first place.
STEP 2: Make a list of the things you’d like to change up in your world, and then prioritize them in order of importance. That way, you know what to tackle first.
STEP 3: Using your top priority, write down several suggestions of what you can do to adjust it. Brainstorm some ideas so you’ll have multiple options.
STEP 4: Start making small changes. Try a few of your ideas within the first week so you can really experience the changes. At the end of the day, reflect upon what you liked (or didn’t like) about the change, determine if you’d like to do it again, and then decide what new change(s) you’ll make tomorrow.
STEP 5: Once you’ve started to incorporate those adjustments on your top priority item, move to the 2nd one and repeat steps 2-4.
