PURPOSE: Start your day off by doing things that are GOOD for you to focus your mind in a positive way.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Start the day with a glass or two of room temperature water. It will rehydrate you and is good for elimination and your organs. 

STEP 2: Stretch. Do a few stretches or yoga poses to get your blood moving and increase your heart rate.

STEP 3: Read something to uplift, not drain you. Don’t start your day with negative news. Pray or read an uplifting quote or a page or two of a self-help book to get your mind in a positive mode. If you wake up with a nagging concern or a negative mood, review your positive affirmations to remind you of who you are and who you are becoming.

STEP 4: Give yourself enough time in the morning so you don’t have to jump out of bed and rush, rush, rush. That starts your day with unnecessary stress and strain. This is not good for your heart or your mindset. Remember, you are the one in control of your happiness.

STEP 5: If you love someone, don’t be afraid to tell them. It is a great way to start both of your days.
