SOLUTION:

Training for Your Pet and You

PURPOSE: Invest in training as part of a group or one-on-one. Doing so will alleviate stress and anxiety for both human and pet as well as add undeniable happiness and safety for you, your family, and pet.

Time: 1 Hour

STEP 1: Research places in your area that offer pet training. Look at locations, pricing, what the training entails, time and duration of training, etc. You want to make sure that it fits your needs, as well as your schedule.

STEP 2: Check the online customer reviews for the trainer or company hosting the training to see if other’s needs have been met.

STEP 3: Contact the trainer or company to tell them your situation and see if it’s a fit. Ask if you can sit in on a class so you can “try before you buy”.

STEP 4: Once you find a place for training, take it seriously. Do the “homework” with your pet so improvements can be made quickly. Determine what will be a great incentive for your pet and have it on hand at all times.

STEP 5: If you choose not to do pet training, at a minimum, do an online search and learn how to properly train your pet in terms of eating, health, being around children, taking walks on a leash and creating boundaries for living in your home.
