Time: 30 Minutes - 1 Hour
STEP 1: Make a list of gyms and workout facilities near your work or home. Read the reviews and determine which ones you’d like to visit.
STEP 2: Go by each of the gyms to see the environment, review the class schedule, etc. Have an associate give you a tour. Consider taking a tour around the time you plan to work out there, so you can see the amount of people and traffic during that time.
STEP 3: Once you find the one you think you’d like to join, reach out to friends/family/social media to ask if anyone has any feedback or works out there. Not only will you get new information, you might also find a workout buddy or two.
STEP 4: Once you find one to join, get connected. Go to a class to meet people or meet those who work out around you.
STEP 5: Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Keep track of your milestones and accomplishments so you’ll know how much time it takes to get the results you set out to achieve.
