Time: 1 Hour
STEP 1: Review senior leaders’ communications (town halls, emails, company intranet, etc.) to list 3–5 major organizational goals and record it in a spreadsheet or document.Â
STEP 2: Analyze team culture elements that help support and achieve these goals (“Collaborative brainstorming sessions drive innovation”). Document examples in the spreadsheet to highlight positive cultural contributions.
STEP 3: Identify cultural aspects that hinder goals (“Siloed communication slows innovation”). Log specific barriers in the spreadsheet, linking to each goal.
STEP 4: Schedule a meeting with your manager and relevant stakeholders to discuss: “How can we leverage [cultural strength] and address [limiter] to support [goal]?” Assign action items (e.g., “HR to launch cross-team training”) and share outcomes via Slack or email to reinforce unity. Reassess quarterly.
