SOLUTION:

Branch Out

PURPOSE: Find a hobby/event that you and your loved one can enjoy together.

Time: 1 Hour

STEP 1: Think about what your spouse/significant other/teenager enjoys doing (ex: a hobby, sport, a type of event, etc.) If your significant other loves golf, concerts, skeet shooting, or yoga, try it out for yourself.

STEP 2: Research upcoming opportunities for you to participate in this hobby/event.

STEP 3: Talk to your loved one about attending with them (or maybe surprise them!) and schedule it. They will be very excited that you are showing an interest in their hobby. They will likely be happy to oblige and share more details about it with you.

STEP 4: Tell your spouse/significant other/teenager that you are excited about participating with them, learning more about their interests and watching them in action. This may be a great bonding experience for the two of you.

STEP 5: Attend the event/hobby. Although it may not be your favorite, it will mean a lot to them that you have offered to go and who knows? You may have found something you two can do together for a lifetime.
