SOLUTION:

Who Is In Your Tribe?

PURPOSE: Often times when we don’t feel comfortable sharing our thoughts or ideas, we are not surrounding ourselves with a tribe of people that make us feel confident. Take time to reflect on who is in your tribe and how they individually make you feel.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Writing things down is one of the best ways to fully think through all of your thoughts and emotions. Take time to write about each person within your circle, and how they make you feel when speaking to them. Be completely honest with yourself, this is not the time to sugarcoat your feelings. Once this is complete take a day or two to reflect over everything you’ve written out.

STEP 2: As you reflect, is there anyone in your tribe that makes you feel uncomfortable or insecure when sharing?

Are you surrounding yourself with people  that make you feel like you can be one hundred percent yourself?

What qualities have you written down about those who do make you feel comfortable sharing?

STEP 3: This type of reflection can be difficult because you may come to realize that there are individuals in your life that don’t make you feel comfortable, or don’t allow you to be the best version of yourself. You may come to realize that you need to remove some people from your life in order to feel content and comfortable in all social settings. Reflect on who these individuals may be.

STEP 4: Choose your tribe with intention. You will not be able to live an Incredible LIFE if you are not surrounded by Incredible PEOPLE. It is okay to be picky when it comes to your inner circle, or tribe. Take notice of how you when sharing your thoughts and ideas once you have removed individuals who are not positively contributing your journey.
