SOLUTION:

Kindness is Contagious

PURPOSE: Be the ray of sunshine that others may need. Looking for easy ways to show kindness to people without expecting something in return is like strengthening a muscle—the more you do it, the easier it becomes.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: Perform an act of kindness.

Look for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness and pay it forward. Consider looking for 3 opportunities a day. Some examples include:

  • Open or hold a door for someone
  • Let someone merge in traffic
  • Compliment someone
  • Smile at someone
  • Give food to someone on the street asking for money
  • Take food to an older person or someone who needs help

STEP 2: Write down 3 ways you can do something kind and then seek out moments to make it happen. You’ll be amazed at how many opportunities present themselves when you start being intentional about it.

STEP 3: Once you reach your goal, try to add one more to your day. Consider setting a challenge with your friends/family/accountability partner, etc. to keep you motivated and spread smiles across the world.
