Auto Thoughts

PURPOSE: Utilize your time spent waiting during the day—in the carpool line, waiting for your oil to be changed, or waiting on your kids to get out of soccer practice, etc. Be prepared with a bible, or a study guide in your car or on your phone so your spiritual practice is at your fingertips.

Time: < 30 Minutes

STEP 1: If you don’t have a bible, study guide handy, get one to keep in your car, briefcase, or workout bag.

STEP 2: Think about the times that you will have some wait/down time this week. Note it on your calendar and set a reminder on your phone to use your time wisely while you’re in wait mode. When the time comes, take out your preferred book, grab a pen and go.

STEP 3: Write one sentence to summarize what you learned during your lesson today and how you can apply it in your life.
